The ELMO a.s., (Company LLC) was incorporated on February 13th 1991 in Zlín - Želechovicích.
At the very beginning of its existence, the company had focused solely on electrical installation jobs. In 1993, however, the enterprise had expanded its activities by wholesaling electrical materials.
As the years went on, the company had gradually expanded and grew, which led to the need to move to new and larger premises in 1999, in Zlín - Příluky.
In the year 2000, a company branch was open in Napajedla under ELMO obchod Ltd., and a year later, another branch was open in Brno under ELMO solid Ltd.
To improve the overall quality and services, the company had undergone certification under ISO 9002:1994 in 2001 under TÜV CERT and in 2003 the company was re-certified under ISO 9001 : 2000 TÜV CERT registration number 12 100 15139 with product development. This certification was valid until October 31st 2006. At the end of October of that year, we have re-certified the company until November 22nd 2009.
In the year 2005, services were extended to our customers in form of the distribution panel production, this was instrumental not only in enlarging the current premises but also by a move to new premises and in opening a larger sales warehouse. We offer our customers low-voltage distribution panels of up to 1000 V. These distribution panels are certified under TÜV SÜD according to the ČSN EN 45011: 98 Norms.
Therefore at the present time, we offer wholesale as well as retail sales of electrical installation materials, together with complete electrical installation services (with our business alliance partner E.ON) and the manufacture of electrical distribution panels.
